The flows on Rock Creek have finally come down to fishable levels. The rainbows and browns are hungry and eating both dries and nymphs. A dry-dropper rig is the best way to fish this stream.
The Yellowstone has been very consistant this Summer. Again, Dry-droppers are producing fish. Flies: Hoppers, stimulators, Pmx's, Parachute Adams, Prince nymph, Red copper johns, caddis pupa.
These fish in both streams are sensing the cold weather coming and are trying to beef up for the winter. This usually means the fish will be aggerssive and chase flies.
